SCADE Glass Cockpit PFD 1.0
The Glass Cockpit Primary Flight Display (PFD)application illustrates, for educational purposes, how tactile,multi-touch, interactivity concepts are brought into the planecockpit with a realistic Primary Flight Display. The Glass CockpitPFD application has been automatically generated from SCADE Suite®and SCADE Display®.The SCADE PFD features the following capabilities:- Attitude Direction Indicator (ADI)- Integrated 3D Navigation Tunnel- Air Speed Scale- Altitude Scale- Vertical Speed Indicator (VSI)- Navigation Display Compass (ND)- Raster Map with Waypoints- Flight Warning Banners (multi-language)The virtual plane features an autopilot that computes the speed, altitude and attitude in order to follow a pre-recorded route, represented by red (ahead) and green (behind) waypoints.Instructions:- tap the ADI, ND, Horizontal Speed Scale and Altitude Scale toshow/hide- tap the Flight Warning Banners to switch language- pinch the Raster Map to zoom in/out- tap the SET buttons (+/-) to set the target altitude, speed, heading and VSI- drag the logos to move them along the scene
SCADE Multi-Function Display 1.0
The Avionics Multi-Function Display(MFD)application illustrates, for educational purposes, howtactileinteractivity concepts are brought into the plane cockpitwith arealistic Multi-Function Display, inspired from a Boeing737display system. The Avionics MFD application has beenautomaticallygenerated from SCADE Suite® and SCADE Display®.The SCADE MFD features the following pages/functions:- a Primary Flight Display (PFD) page, including anAttitudeDirection Indicator (ADI), Speed Counter, Altitude Counter,FlightManagement Compass (FMC), Navigation Display (ND) andVerticalSpeed Indicator (VSI),- an Engine page,- an Airport Map page, including an horizontal vector airportmapand a vertical display,- a Navigation Map page, including an horizontal raster mapwithwaypoints and a vertical display. The virtual plane follows a pre-recorded scenario.Instructions:- tap to select the page switching animationtype(Fade/Zoom/Twirl)- flick the screen left/right to navigate through four pages
SCADE Nuclear Steam Boiler 1.0
The Nuclear Steam Boiler Controlapplicationillustrates, for educational purposes, how tactileinteractivityconcepts are brought into the nuclear power plantcontrol room witha realistic Steam Boiler Control Panel. TheNuclear Steam BoilerControl application has been automaticallygenerated from SCADESuite® and SCADE Display®.The steam boiler controller is a software program which servestocontrol the level of water in a nuclear power plantsteam-boiler.It is important that the program works correctlybecause thequantity of water present when the steam-boiler isworking has tobe neither too low nor too high; otherwise thesteam-boiler or theturbine sitting in front of it might beseriously affected. The SCADE steam boiler control panel is divided into twodistinctparts:- the right part allows controlling the system environment:systeminitialization, failure injection and repair (pumps, steamcontroller, level controller)- the left part allows monitoring the steam boiler controller:waterlevel, water temperature, steam output flow, pumpsactivation, failure controls, etc.Instructions:- tap on the Boiler Ready button to start the systeminitializationsequence: the 4 pumps fill the steam boiler watertank up tominimum normal water level N1- then tap on the Units Ready button to conclude thesysteminitialization sequence: the 4 pumps fill the steam boilerwatertank up to maximum normal water level N2, and at the same timethewater reactor begins to heat, thus producing steam and reducingthewater level- when the system operates in NORMAL regulation mode, thepumpsautomatically activate to fill the water tank when minimumnormalwater level N1 is reached, up to maximum normal waterlevelN2- failures can be introduced anytime by the user for eachpump(1,2,3,4) via the control panel using the “Inject Failure”buttons, but will only be detected by the system when pumps areactivated. After failure detection by the system, user can repaireach pumpusing the “Repair” buttons. User can manually forcepumpsactivation using the “Force on Fail” buttons.- failure can be introduced anytime by the user for thesteamcontroller and for the level controller via the control panelusingthe respective “Inject Failure” buttons. Such failuresareautomatically detected by the system, and can be repairedanytimeusing the “Repair” buttons.- the steam boiler control system will automatically stopwhenreaching the EMERGENCY STOP mode
